To the North

Master’s Project

Hi Tumblr…

Obviously, I am no longer in Alaska.  I’m also not in Death Valley at the moment, but that is where I just finished photographing and filming for my master’s project.  Over the next month or so, I will be editing and designing (yes, I will attempt to design! Brave new world! Possible disaster!) an ebook.  My plan is to integrate the photo and video with my own writing in order to see if photojournalism can adapt to the world of iTunes and Kindles.

So, the occasional photo or completed page from that project may sneak it’s way onto this blog. 

I still hope to get back to Alaska soon.  It just may take a few years and the right job offer.
